Firefighter hurt while battling fire on roof of vacant Bronx building
The fire broke out around 6:45 a.m. in the Mott Haven section.

MOTT HAVEN, Bronx (WABC) -- One firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling a fire on the roof of a vacant Bronx building early Thursday.

The fire broke out around 6:45 a.m. on Concord Avenue in the Mott Haven section.

Smoke could be seen pouring from the building.

The firefighter was taken to the hospital where he is expected to recover.
