Former education reporter Art McFarland recognized as 'dream broadcaster'

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Former Eyewitness News education reporter Art McFarland was recognized in Queens as the 'dream broadcaster' for his work and advocacy of children.

The Fairy Godmother Foundation of New York honored McFarland on Friday.

The group's mission is to improve the quality of life of those with medical and developmental challenges.
