Yanks' Voit (sports hernia) hitless in 1st rehab game

New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in his first rehab game Friday night for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Voit batted leadoff and played first base for the RailRiders. He also struck out once in the Triple-A game at Lehigh Valley.

Voit has been out since July 30 due to a sports hernia. He could rejoin the Yankees when they return home next Friday.

Voit has 19 home runs and 54 RBIs in 94 games this season.
