BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (WABC) -- Educators on Long Island are pushing back against using student test scores to evaluate teachers.
A rally was held Monday night in Brookville by critics of the Common Core curriculum.
They're calling on parents and students to opt-out of the upcoming testing.
They say research does not support the use of tests as an accurate, effective way to evaluate educators.
Organizers say they have a series of public forums on testing issues planned for later this month.
