Empowerment Self-Defense and Upstander Strategies Against Anti-Asian Violence.
When: Thursday March 4th 5:30-7:30pm
What: This interactive workshop is intended for people of Asian descent and allies to develop strategies to fight back against anti-Asian violence. There will be de-escalation and Upstander strategies, as well as physical self-defense techniques to respond to anti-Asian harassment and hate violence.

Center for Jewish History with Museum of Chinese in America
When: On-going
What: Explore the new exhibition "An Unlikely Photojournalist: Emile Bocian in Chinatown". This exhibit features a never-before-seen collection of images of Manhattan's Chinatown in the 1970's and 80's.

Adult Polyglucosan Body Disease Research Foundation Virtual Educational and Fundraising
When: Tuesday, March 2, 2021, 7:30pm
What: Online event to benefit the Adult Polyglucosan Body Disease Research Foundation (APBDRF) will have TV Host Ali Rosen and Master Chef Jeffrey Yoskowitz Headline "ROOTS: Jewish Genes and Cuisine". The live-streamed event will help raise awareness of Adult Polyglucosan Body Disease (APBD), a rare, inherited disorder resulting in cognitive deterioration and muscle weakness, and which disproportionately affects people of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.

Paterson Virtual Exhibit
What: Photojournalist Thomas E. Franklin explores the topics of forced migration and border security in this virtual exhibit. It also examines the overwhelming obstacles refugees face while trying to seek asylum in the U.S., and the European Union, as well as the process of resettlement and assimilation.

Virtual Self-Paced Microsoft Certifications
What: Study for tests, earn an IT Certification or learn another language with a free Microsoft course.

New York Opera Conservatory Free Virtual Opera

What: Watch a comedic opera based on the ever-changing world during this pandemic. This show was shot completely on the performers' smartphones and features seasoned professionals and students.

NYC and Company Virtual NYC
Location: New York, NY
What: Explore the culture of the five boroughs of New York City on a virtual field trip! You can see performing arts, as well as collections from museums and galleries.

New York Public Library Online Storytime
Location: New York, NY
What: The New York Public Library is offering a virtual storytime. Kids can sing along and learn early reading tips from local librarians. Favorite books such as "Mr. Panda", "Piggies", and "Whose Mouse Are You?" are available weekly.
New York Botanical Gardens
Location: Bronx, NY
What: The New York Botanical Garden is offering a virtual tour of their location. One of the special features of the tour is The Orchid Show with Jeff Leatham. Families can see bold colorful flower displays and learn about different exotic plants.
