NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police said a New Jersey man waved a samurai sword at a fellow driver while stuck in traffic at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel.

Richardson Rosius, 32, became enraged around 2 p.m. Saturday on the north side of the tunnel in Manhattan as cars were merging near the tunnel's entrance, police said.

According to Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police, he got out of his car, unsheathed a Wakazashi sword with a 10-and-a-half-inch blade, and began pointing it at the driver of another car.

The other driver was in a car with his wife. The suspect was alone in his car.

The suspect then got back into his car and drove west into the tunnel. He was stopped in New Jersey as he exited the tunnel. The sword was found on the passenger front seat of his car.

Rosius was arrested on a weapons charge.
