DOBBS FERRY -- A TV producer from Westchester County has been arrested on child pornography charges.

41-year old Jason Alexander, known as Jace, is charged with Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child, and Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, for allegedly possessing and file-sharing illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children less than seventeen years of age.

According to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore, an investigator from the D.A.'s office downloaded child pornography from an internet address in Westchester County and determined that the IP address was assigned to Alexander's home.

A search warrant resulted in computers and external hard drives removed from the location that revealed digital files of children who are less than sixteen years of age engaged in child pornography.

Alexander was arraigned with bail set at $10,000. His next court date is November 19th. If convicted, he faces a maximum of seven years in state prison.

Alexander is the son of actress Jane Alexander. His wife, Maddie Corman, is also an actress.

He is listed on IMDb as a director and producer known for Law & Order (1990), Rescue Me (2004) and Carry Me Home (2004).
