Woman attacked during Riverdale home invasion robbery

RIVERDALE, N.Y. -- Three suspects are wanted for a home invasion and robbery of a home in Riverdale.

At 11 a.m. on July 28, a woman heard a knock on the door of her Riverdale apartment. She asked her home health aide to answer the door and three suspects forced their way into the home.

The aide was locked in a closet. The suspects then demanded that the woman open her safe and assaulted her.

She complied and the suspects fled with $50,000. The victim refused medical attention on scene.
