LOPATCONG, N.J. -- State police say a body found in the Delaware River is believed to be that of a New York man went missing while tubing with friends.

Authorities say divers found the body Sunday, shortly after they resumed their search for Christopher Lawrence.

The 22-year-old Brooklyn resident had vanished after he fell off a tube around 5 p.m. Saturday. The incident occurred in the area of Lopatcong and Harmony townships in northwestern New Jersey.

A search began a short time later, but was suspended later Saturday due to darkness and visibility issues.
