Roman Grandinetti is the owner. He named the place after his mom Regina and explained that their Italian sandwiches are inspired by family members. There are more than a dozen sandwiches on the menu.
Chau had the Uncle Jimmy, one of the most popular sandwiches. It includes prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, hot sopressata, smoked ham, arugula, Regina's hot pepper spread served on Stirato Bread. "The meat is so good though," said Chau. "There are so many different kinds of meat and the spice." Grandinetti says the secret is the hot sauce that's made by his mom. It's not an easy sandwich to eat, but Chau said, "It's definitely worth the mess."
Sandwiches cost anywhere from $12-$16. But if you're not in to sandwiches they can turn any sandwich into a salad. The works of any sandwich on be put on top of an arugula salad.
