Bronx teen shot dead, followed from McDonald's

A Bronx teenager was shot dead in the street and now his mourning mother is calling for justice.

Police say 17-year-old Michael Beltre was followed into a McDonald's on Jerome Avenue by two men around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say the three men appeared to make eye contact.

They then followed him outside and shot him just a few blocks away.

Beltre was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have made no arrests.

They say there may have been some gang involvement.
