Bicyclist critically injured after being struck by SUV in Chelsea

CHELSEA, Manhattan (WABC) -- A bicyclist is fighting for his life after being hit by a livery cab in Manhattan.

It happened Sunday afternoon on 21st Street and 9th Avenue in Chelsea.

Police say the man was on a Citi Bike when an SUV hit him.

The driver of the SUV did remain at the scene, and no charges have been filed.

The victim is in critical condition at Bellevue Hospital.
