Man assaulted in possible hate crime in Bed-Stuy
Joe Torres has more on a man who was assaulted in a possible hate crime in Bed-Stuy.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are investigating a possible hate crime involving a social services worker in Brooklyn.

The incident happened early Saturday morning at Franklin and Fulton Streets in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Police say a group of men made anti-gay remarks assaulted at least one other man.

A spokesperson for the Mayor's office said it was a social services worker who was badly beaten. He is being treated at the hospital.
