Woman slashed while using public computer at Brooklyn Public Library
Rob Nelson has more on a woman who was slashed at the Brooklyn Public Library.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A woman was violently slashed at a library in Brooklyn.

Police say the 26-year-old was sitting at a computer at the Brooklyn Public Library near Grand Army Plaza in Prospect Heights on Wednesday.

Officials say a man told the woman she was sitting too close to him, and began kicking her chair. Moments later, he pulled a knife, and slashed her on her hand.

A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged.
