Man opens fire on Brooklyn street
Sandra Bookman reports on the search for a gunman who opened fire, wounding a bystander in Brooklyn.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for a man who opened fire on a Brooklyn street Sunday.



He started firing at another man in the middle of a sidewalk.



It happened on Malcolm X Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 4 p.m.



A 50-year-old man was shot under the left armpit and in the right shoulder, and is in stable condition at an area hospital.



The suspect is described as approximately 5'5", approximately 190lbs, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and brown sweatpants.
