FAIRFIELD, Ct. (WABC) -- A car crash in Connecticut was caught on camera, and police released the video to remind drivers to always be aware of their surroundings.
A driver who was trying to park at a Dunkin Donuts in Fairfield at about 1 p.m. Thursday accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake.
The car shot out into Black Rock Turnpike, where it collided with a painting van traveling north.
The van tipped over and slid on its left side across two northbound lanes of traffic.
No one was injured.
