ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. (WABC) -- A 911 call from a frantic mother whose car was stolen with her kids inside in New Jersey has been released.

The call follows along with the multi-city chase.

911 Caller: (Yelling)

Dispatch: Hello?

911 Caller: (yelling) A guy stole my car!

Panting, yelling and panicked. The stress in the woman's voice can clearly be heard in the 911 call she made on July 5th.

That's when Eyewitness News first told you about 22-year-old Sereymanta Kong's carjacking in Englewood Cliffs that led to a bang up car chase, but listening to the woman directly after the incident emphasizes just how scared she was.

911 Caller: He was lying down in the street and I stopped the car.

Police tell Eyewitness News Kong was pretending to be hurt, then tried to steal the woman's Mercedes with her two kids inside.

911 Caller: My kids were in the car and I...

Dispatch: They're in the car with him?

911 Caller: No, well, I pulled them out.

Dispatch: You pulled them out?

911 Caller: Yes I did.

Just four minutes into the call, officers had already spotted the stolen car.

Dispatch: OK, ma'am I'm going to put you on hold, we're behind the car OK?

That was only the beginning of the chase. Kong was nearly caught but fought with an Englewood Cliffs officer to steal his patrol car.

Dash cam video showed him speeding through seven towns, police lights going, before the real police were able to clip his car to stop him.

Mom and her two kids are likely glad their car is back and Kong is behind bars.
