Faces of famous female scientists projected onto Grand Central Terminal's ceiling

MANHATTAN (WABC) -- The famous celestial ceiling at Grand Central Terminal underwent a little transformation this week.

Through midnight Thursday night, the ceiling will be illuminated with the faces of 12 famous female scientists.

The faces will be projected as part of a seven-minute show.

The scientists who are being featured include Hadiyah-Nicole Green, the first woman to kill cancer cells with lasers, and Laurie Leshin, who is searching for life on Mars.
