Bronx dirt-bike rider has bike stolen right out from under him

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- A man in the Bronx had the dirt bike he was riding stolen out from under him.



Around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, at Valentine Avenue and East 184 Street in the Bronx, a 24-year-old man was on a dirt bike, stopped at a red light.



Two men assaulted him and tried to steal his bike. One man punched the victim in the face and tried to flee on the victim's bike before police captured him, according to police. The second suspect punched the victim about the body, then fled northbound on Valentine Avenue. There were no reported injuries.



The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned male in his mid 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 180 lbs. He has long dark hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and black and white Nike sneakers.
