EAST FLATBUSH (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man wanted in a series of armed robberies in Brooklyn, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead them to the man they believe is responsible for at least 16 incidents in the Eats Flatbush area dating back to January.
The man is seen in the video pointing a gun at a victim while riding his bike. In most instances, he either approaches the victims on the street or forces his way into their homes.
Luckily, none of the victims has been seriously hurt. One of them spoke to Eyewitness News, but did not want to be identified.
"I'm upset that he got away," the victim said.
The Brooklyn homeowner talked about the day he came face to face with the intruder inside his home, possibly the man seen in the sketch and on the video.
"He got into the home through a window," he said. "When I asked what the hell he was doing here, he pointed a gun and said don't move."
It happened the morning of Saturday, June 13. He says he had left his house for about 15 minutes, only to return and find the man dressed in dark clothing and holding a gun, standing inside his basement.
He says he didn't wrestle with the gunman, knowing his life was far more valuable than the things they intruder was taking.
"He got away with some personal things of mine," he said. "A watch, iPhone 5, and a xBox."
He then watched the gunman run down the block, hop on a bicycle and ride away.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call police.
