Woman hit by MTA bus on East Side

EAST SIDE (WABC) -- A woman was struck by an MTA bus on the East Side Tuesday afternoon.

It happened as the bus was turning at E. 57th Street and 3rd Avenue.

The woman was taken by ambulance to New York Hospital. She was conscious at the time.

There is no word on the victim's condition.
