NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York University is about to try out an unusual approach to providing housing on a college campus.
Some NYU students may soon be able to live with seniors -- senior citizens, that is.
Tuition, room and board is currently a whopping $64,000 a year, so administrators are trying to come up with ways to make the school more affordable. And a deal with the University Settlement Society of New York could help cut the $14,000-a-year housing bill in half.
Check out Eyewitness News reporter Shirleen Allicot's video above for the details and how students are reacting to the program.
