Teacher beats the odds and learns how to walk again

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A teacher and mom from Brooklyn is an inspiration to us all.

She lost part of her leg in a horrific accident, but after months of grueling physical therapy she is now standing tall and being honored for her work.
