VIDEO: School celebrates student's acceptance to Cornell University

BREAUX BRIDGE, Louisiana -- Being accepted to the college of your choice is a strong reason to celebrate. For one student in Louisiana, being accepted to the Ivy League school of his choice was enough to make his teachers and classmates rejoice as well.

Video captured by TM Landry College Prep in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, shows senior Brendon Gauthier nervously waiting to find out if he was accepted into Cornell University.

In the video, dozens of students and faculty can be seen anxiously standing behind Brendon as the announcement prepares to come down.

When Brendon learns he's been accepted, the entire room erupts in celebration.
