CANARSIE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A candlelight vigil was held Saturday to mourn a college student from Brooklyn who died in a possible hazing incident in Buffalo.

Friends and family of Bradley Doyley marched from his family's home in Canarsie to a nearby park where they released balloons.

The candlelight vigil began at Doyley's home on 81st Street between Farragut and Glenwood roads. The group marched to Bildersee Park for a balloon release in Doyley's honor. Doyley grew up in Brooklyn and a family representative said he was a positive influence in his neighborhood.

The 21-year-old former Buffalo State basketball player died last month in a possible fraternity hazing incident.

A funeral and burial for Doyley will be March 13 and 14. His family is still awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
