Billy Joel to perform first concert at renovated Nassau Coliseum

UNIONDALE, Long Island (WABC) -- Billy Joel will perform the first show at the newly renovated Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on April 5.

The coliseum is reopening after extensive work. It closed in 2015 with a Billy Joel concert.

It will be the Long Island native's 33rd show at the Coliseum. He sold out nine shows in 1998.
