ROCHELLE, Illinois -- Seven straw statues are on display in Rochelle, Illinois, as part of what the small farm community says is the only straw sculpting competition in the country.
The statues are located in a 20-acre field adjacent to Rochelle High School, 1401 E. Flagg Rd. The statues will be on display until Nov. 1.
A 21-foot tall Statue of Liberty has also been created to promote the competition. The Statue of Liberty is located at 328 E. Hwy. 38 in Rochelle.
