Boy recovering after falling through ice while chasing his dog

An 8-year-old boy is recovering after falling through the ice while chasing his dog.

A sheriff's deputy had to punch through the frozen pond to pull the boy out in Utah.

The boy was airlifted to the hospital - there is no word on his condition.

The officer was not injured.
