14.5 pound baby born in Boston

BOSTON (WABC) -- A little lady in Massachusetts is making a big statement.

Carisa Ruscak came into the world Tuesday weighing a whopping 14.5 pounds!

That's the size of a typical 6-month-old.

At 22 inches is long, she is the biggest baby delivered at Mass General Hospital in the last 12 years.

Instead of being called "big baby," Carisa's dad calls her "earth baby" because she was born on Earth Day.
