Man proposes to girlfriend outside Eyewitness News studio

UPPER WEST SIDE (WABC) -- An Eyewitness News viewer enlisted the help of meteorologist Amy Freeze to propose to his girlfriend on Friday.

Julian, a viewer from the Upper East Side, asked Amy to hold up a sign that read "Alix, will you marry him?"

During Eyewitness News at Noon, Amy held up the sign as the couple stood outside our studios. She captured the moment on Facebook Live:

After Alix saw the sign, Julian got down on one knee with ring in hand. She said yes!
