Watching paint dry has never been more exciting. Check out some of the entries from the 2015 World Bodypainting Festival.

More than 30,000 visitors attended the 18th annual World Bodypainting Festival in the small Austrian town of Poertschach this July to witness artists and models compete for world champion titles in bodypainting. The championships are the center of many creative projects over the one week festival, with this year's themes surrounding "games" and "surrealism."

Artists from more than 40 nations competed in the festival, which touts itself as "a melting pot of artistic performances, body art, art, music and lifestyle and stages not only your own body awareness, but also offers endless possibilities to decorate and display these."

New Zealand artist Sofia Bue took home first place in the Special Effects Make-Up category for her devilish-looking creation.
