New exhibit features contributions of black designers to world of fashion

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The impact of black designers in fashion is extraordinary, but many within the industry say it's often overlooked.

Now there's a new exhibit at the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology that highlights the many contributions made over the decades.

The exhibition also includes a cellphone tour with multimedia content for smartphones.

Eyewitness News Reporter Sandra Bookman takes a look at the exhibit which runs through May.
