KIPS BAY, Manhattan (WABC) -- Ice cream has grown up.

Welcome to Tipsy Scoop Ice Cream Barlour, where you can expect to get carded. And that's because ice cream flavors are infused with liquor.

Owner Melissa Tavss says some flavors have as much as 5 percent in alcohol by volume, and there's even a bouncer at the door to make sure customers are 21 or older.

Flavors range from Red Velvet Martini to Spiked Mint Chocolate Chip, and there's also a Chocolate Stout and Pretzel.

They even offer a "boozy ice cream flight," which is four flavors served up in shot glasses rimmed with sprinkles and chocolate.

If alcohol is not your thing, they do also offer three non-alcoholic flavors.

Tipsy Scoop Ice Cream Barlour is located at 217 East 26th Street (between Second and Third avenues) in Kips Bay.
