3 injured after fire at Long Island gas station under renovation

FREEPORT. N.Y. (WABC) -- Three workers were critically injured in a fire at a gas station under renovation.

The fire broke out at a station on Long Beach Avenue just after 10 a.m.

Workers had been clearing the underground tanks when there was combustion and large fire.

The three workers are in critical but stable condition at the burn center at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
