WILLIAMSBRIDGE (WABC) -- There is new information about a hit and run in the Bronx that left a 7-year-old girl critically hurt.
Police released surveillance video of the Jeep Wrangler they're trying to track down.
A female driver struck the girl May 24th on East 214th Street in the Williamsbridge section, stopped for a moment, and then sped away.
7-year-old Abryanna Carrasco was critically hurt but survived.
Family members and neighbors failed to catch up with the mid-sized SUV as it sped off.
"Right past me, she was moving. I think she floored it, and that's how fast this thing moved. And it went over this speed bump, boom boom, boom, it was gone and people just chasing them," said Juan Fuentes, an eyewitness.
"She could have a least gone to a precinct, said, 'Oh my God this happened here and here," Perez said.
