MARBLE HILL (WABC) -- Police have made an arrest nearly four months after a hit and run that killed a Columbia University budget manager.

38-year old Daniel Cabrera was struck by a car in Upper Manhattan in February.

The driver fled the scene.

The suspect, 58-year old Michael Longo, was arraigned Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to leaving the scene of an accident.

He faces up to 7 years behind bars if convicted.

Longo is accused of mowing down and leaving the father of one for dead in the intersection of West 225th Street and Broadway in Marble Hill as Cabrera was heading home to Cortlandt Manor in Westchester County.

Longo allegedly sped away southbound over the Broadway Bridge in a Dodge Magnum. The vehicle, which was not registered to him, was later recovered in Upper Manhattan.
