Pedestrian killed in hit and run accident in Lakewood, New Jersey

LAKEWOOD, New Jersey (WABC) -- A pedestrian was killed in a hit and run accident in New Jersey Monday night.

Police say it happened on Cedarbridge Avenue and Doctor Martin Luther King Drive in Lakewood just after 7:30 p.m.

Officers were able to track down the driver about an hour later.

That driver is now being questioned by police.

So far no charges have been filed.
