PHOTOS: Coney Island annual sand sculpting contest

CONEY ISLAND (WABC) -- Plenty of sand sculptors put their skills to the test at the 25th anniversary Coney Island sand sculpting contest.

The competition brought some of the top professionals and amateurs to the beach. The contest started in 1990 with 20 families competing.

This year will be seeing the biggest turnout, with 100 participants.
