Black light yoga debuts in New York City

Check out the newest way to yoga, black light yoga.

TRIBECA, Manhattan (WABC) -- It's yoga like you've never seen or experienced before. YogaSpark in Tribeca if offering black light yoga.

It's 55 minutes of fast paced, hot yoga. The room is set to 95 degrees. But what makes it truly unique is the use of black lights.

With a flip of a switch the regular lights are off and the black lights are on. That's when the real fun begins.

Participants can see their clothes glow.

Lauren Porat,the owner of YogaSpark says it can be pretty inspiring to be illuminated by your own body and the people next to you. She also says the darkness helps people to be able to "zone out."

A single class will cost you $34. You can find YogaSpark at 158 Duane Street in Tribeca. That's the newest location. The original one is at 490 Mount Pleasant Avenue in Mamaroneck. Black light classes are held one a month in Mamaroneck, usually during the last week of the month.
