6-year-old boy shot in Irvington apartment; Injuries not life threatening

IRVINGTON (WABC) -- Law enforcement sources says a 6-year-old boy was shot in an apartment in Irvington, New Jersey, Thursday morning.

The child was shot in the leg at around 8 a.m.

The injuries are not life threatening, and the circumstances of the incident are not known at this time.

The shooting is under investigation.
