A woman is facing charges after she allegedly allowed teens to drink alcohol at a party.

DEER PARK, Long Island (WABC) -- Police on Long Island have issued a summons to a woman who allegedly let teenagers drink alcohol at her son's birthday party.

Suffolk County police say they responded to a complaint of beer bottles in the street outside a home in Deer Park Saturday night.

They say they arrived to find around 200 young people celebrating a 17-year-old boy's birthday, many of them drinking.

Police charged the boy's mother, 44-year-old Natasha Miles, with violating the Social Host Law.
