Police say Linden cop in fatal wrong-way crash drunk

LINDEN, N.J. (WABC) -- Eyewitness News has learned the New Jersey cop blamed for a deadly wrong-way crash on Staten Island was drunk according to police.

Linden Police Officer Pedro Abad is accused of driving in the wrong direction on the West Shore Expressway in March and slamming into a big rig.

Two of Abad's passengers were killed, including another Linden officer.
