Third rail issue cause slow morning commute for some LIRR riders

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The LIRR experienced some delays and cancellations Wednesday morning due to a third rail problem west of Jamaica.

Those issues have since been resolved.

The delays reached 30-60 minutes at the height of the morning rush as crews worked to fix the rail issue.

All problems were seemingly solved by 9:45 a.m.
