GREAT NECK, N.Y. -- Authorities are reporting delays on the Long Island Rail Road.
The Long Island Rail Road is reporting 10-15 minute delays Wednesday morning in and out of Penn Station due to a track condition in one of the East River tunnels.
The agency says some westbound trains were being canceled in Jamaica or diverted to Atlantic Terminal or Hunter's Point Avenue.
Earlier, a man was found conscious and alert on the tracks after being struck by a LIRR train at the Great Neck Plaza station around 7:05 a.m.
The LIRR says limited Port Washington branch service has been restored in both directions.
