NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Knicks postseason win streak was snapped after they lost 115-111 to the Spurs in Game 3 at Madison Square Garden.

Victor Wembanyama had 32 points, eight rebounds and six assists, carrying the San Antonio Spurs to a 115-111 victory Monday night that cut the Knicks' lead to 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

San Antonio is trying to make a first-of-its-kind NBA Finals comeback.

The Spurs handed the Knicks their first loss in 46 days and potentially salvaged their season in front of a Madison Square Garden crowd that included President Donald Trump.

The Knicks had their 13-game winning streak, the second-longest in NBA postseason history, snapped and missed a chance to move to the brink of their first title since 1973.

Their previous loss occurred on April 23 in a one-point defeat to the Atlanta Hawks. They won the next three against Atlanta, swept Philadelphia and Cleveland and took the first two games against the Spurs.

Game 4 is Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. on ABC 7, your home for the NBA Finals.

Reports of confrontations with police outside Bryant Park watch party

It was a successful venue change at the Bryant Park for the outdoor watch party, but it was just outside the park during the game that things got a little tense.

Fans jammed the streets outside Bryant Park, 42nd and 40th streets, climbing cars and scaffolds to get a look at the screen inside -- but not wanting to actually be inside where they would've had to register and follow a few rules like not bring bags or smoke or drink alcohol. There was some fighting and some did get into confrontations with the NYPD- an officer can be seen using what appears to he pepper spray on some rowdy fans.

Bryant Park was the alternative location to the usual watch party outside Madison Square Garden after the secret service and NYPD decided there couldn't be a party on the garden's doorstep with the president in attendance for security reasons.
