Man critical after Brooklyn hit and run; police search for driver

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- The search is on for the driver behind a hit and run in Brooklyn.

A 61-year-old man was hit at the intersection of Sutter and Georgia Avenues in East New York just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police have not yet released a description of the car they are searching for.
