Man shot outside White Castle restaurant in Orange, New Jersey

ORANGE, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police are investigating a shooting outside a New Jersey fast food restaurant Thursday night.

A man was shot outside the White Castle on Central Avenue in Orange just after 10:30 p.m.

He was taken to University Hospital in Newark in unknown condition.

No arrests were immediately made.

Police were searching for evidence both inside and outside the restaurant, where shell casings were recovered in the parking lot.
