NEW YORK (WABC) -- The rain didn't stop the Tri-State area from giving thanks and remembering military members this Memorial Day.
Hundreds gathered to watch parades, wreath-laying and other events in their communities.
We were able to capture seven different locations in the Tri-State area celebrating Memorial Day in their own way.
Bill and Hilary Clinton as well as Gov. Andrew Cuomo paid a visit to New Castle, NY to walk in their parade, while Mayor Bill de Blasio attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Intrepid Museum in Manhattan.
Other locations featured in the video above are Valley Stream, Glen Cove, Nutley, Brooklyn and Upper West Side.
