Cat reunited with family after 2-week adventure at JFK Airport

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A much-loved pet is back with his owners after spending some time exploring Kennedy Airport.

Felix the cat was tracked down Thursday after two weeks of wandering the airport.

He disappeared on April 1, when his cat carrier broke while being unloaded from a flight from Abu Dhabi.

Felix's owners were moving back to the U.S. after living abroad for three years.

They say Felix is home and doing well and is just in need of some grooming after his adventure at the airport.
