NEW YORK (WABC) -- A young rapper has been found and is reportedly OK, according to police.

Arthur Astie, of France, was visiting New York City on vacation with his family when he apparently hopped on the wrong subway and disappeared. He was missing for four days. Now, his father is telling Eyewitness News that his son was assaulted on the train. Police have not confirmed the attack.

Astie was at a White Plains hospital on Saturday morning.

"I'm stressed, I'm worried, but I have hope," said Frederick Astie on Friday.

The 22-year-old tourist visited friends in Brooklyn Tuesday night. He sent a text to his dad around 8:30 saying he was on his way back to the hostel where his family was staying during their vacation from their home in France.

About 90 minutes later, he followed up with a phone call.

"He told me, 'Oh, I'm in the Bronx, but I can switch to the 2 line, I'm back.' I started to be worried because I couldn't understand what happened. I heard him saying to somebody wait a minute and then it stopped," Astie said.

Astie said Friday that his son told him he accidentally took the 5 train instead of the 2 and was lost somewhere in the Bronx.
